He's HeRe!! kAstLe bEnsOn tRimMeR

We finally got to meet our little guy on SeptEmBeR 9, 2011 at 10:50 pm ....(after about 20 hours of labor) 8 lbs 5 oz 20 1/2 in. It was a tough journey, but mom and baby are both finally home and settling in. KaStLe was taken to the NICU after being born. His amniotic fluid was filled with meconium and the NICU team was in the room to make sure that he didn't get any into his lungs. Also, near the end of the delivery I got a fever so they assumed that kAstLe would have one as well (and he did) so he didn't get to room with mom and dad. I was released after the 48 hours but baby had to stay another night and wait for all the final test results. It is a very emotional experience to have to see your baby all hooked up to monitors that have alarms going off on them every 7-10 seconds. We are so happy to be home with the new addition to our family.

BabY sHowEr - sT gEorGe

My darling cousin Tara threw me a shower in StGeOrgE for all of my wonderful friends. It was such a fun shower and we had the yummiest food. I have an awesome group of ladies (and Cody) down here that cant wait for this little guy to arrive.

bAbY sHowEr - NeW hArmOnY

Rick's mom and grandma threw me a BabY sHowEr in NeW haRmoNy. It was so fun. We decorated onesies and we ended up with some really funny ones. I just love Rick's family, they are too fun to hang out with.

MatErNitY piCtuReS

Here are a few of my mAteRnIty piCs. There are so many I tried to narrow it down a bit, but Errin did such a great job. We had so much fun taking them because poor Rick was such a good sport and just made me laugh the whole time. He is going to be the best dad ever.

35 wEeKs

Here is the most current picture of {the Bump} at 35 WeeKs. Im getting/im already huge! Rick tells me everyday that my due date was 2 weeks ago. I have been feeling really good, but it seems like week 36 came around and all of a sudden its all down hill from here. 108 degree heat in St George is definetly not helping. But we are crossing our fingers that he stays put until at least September 1st.

CoNgrAts KiRkiE and aShLeY

Rick and I were up north this last weekend to help my little brother and his gorgeous wife celebrate and be sealed. Kirk and Ashley were married before Kirk had to deploy, but they didn't quite get their perfect wedding. Now that he is home we all got to celebrate their marriage in style. ConGrAts, Kirk aNd aShLeY!

24tH of JuLy - NeW haRmoNy

We got to celebrate the 24th in NeW hArmoNy this year. What a cute small town. We went to the parade and had a nice big BBQ up at Rick's parent's house.

SumMeR 2010

K gals, there it is.... Gina - pre baby and Gina - mid baby. Oh I really hope I fit back into all my clothes. A girl that I work with has me so scared. I told her that I put on a pair of my heels to wear for my maternity pics and they were so so too small. She was very reasuring when she said... "Yeah, I went from a 6 to an 8" I thought for sure no matter what I would always have my shoes. This may not be the case anymore.

Thx again, Errin. Your the best! I can NOT wait to see the rest!

GreAsE aT tUacAhN

We went and saw GrEaSe aT tUacAhN we some of Rick's family for Rick's Grandma Jackie's birthday. It was so fun! It was a cute production (a little different from the movie tho). But I really dont care what it is, I just love going to see anything. The actress playing Sandy could've passed for "Olivia Newton John" herself, but the actor playing Danny was by no means any "John Travolta". HapPy bIrtHdAy, Jackie!

Perfect weather, perfect water! Great 4th of July at Powell! We didn't quite have our full usual group, but Nick and Jen came out from San Diego and my brother Kirk and his wife Ashley came down from Salt Lake so it was a blast. We even had some crashers, a couple from Texas that just moved to St George heard we were going and they tagged along and they were awesome. Of course Rick started out the trip with a shoulder injury. He just cant handle a 4th of July without using our insurance (that starts over on July 1st every year).

HapPy 29th GiNa

Wow! One year away from the big 30. Its so weird that I dont feel any older than I did at 23 (I certainly look older). Im sure its because I haven't really advanced in life as far as kids and big milestones yet when compared to the normal 29 year old in Utah. Dont get me wrong I would not change anything. We have gotten to do so many fun things and Im glad that we are moving into the next big adventure with baby #1 almost here, but its weird to think that when I was 20 I thought 30 would feel so different, but it really doesn't. Once your past high school or even college, life just kind of blends into itself. It all just becomes a blur. Blur or not, at least I know I've had 29 years worth of good times!

Rick's Gram and Gramp Benson rented the ParAgOnaH cAbiN for all of us again this year. It was so nice to get out of the St George HEAT. It is such a beautiful place and fun area to go and relax.

hApPy fAtHerS dAy

We spent FatheRs dAy up at Rick's parents house in New Harmony. The fallow deer just had new babies and the little pygmy goats are pregnant and due soon. Always something fun being added or being born up there.

Our friend Dave Bee got a chance to fight so we all went to show our support. (Sorry, the pics are terrible it was not dark enough for a flash but too dark without. I hate that.) So this is basically like the UFC type fights, it comes to St George and Dave not only entered and was featured in the paper, but he also kicked some &%$ and won. We are so proud of him. His cute little wife Kristin was shaking the whole time.
